Serve with Community of Hope

Jesus teaches that He came to serve, not to be served.  We believe that serving alongside of others connects us to people inside and outside the walls of the church.

We have ways for you to get involved on Sunday mornings right away.

Opportunities include:

Hope for Kids - Helping and Teaching with our children.
Students - Help with Sunday classes, small groups, and trips.
First Impressions Team - Greeting, hospitality, and helping others navigate Sunday morning.
Worship Arts Team - If you play or sing, we would love for you to audition for a spot on our worship team. We also have opportunities for people to run audio and visual, as well as sound and tech.

We are big on providing events to our local community to connect with them.
They all require people to serve.

Food Truck Fridays - We host a cluster of food trucks once a month during the cooler months. Help direct traffic, set up, tear down, keep the space clean.

Living Nativity - One of our larger events of the year, takes place during the Christmas season.  Watch for opportunities to serve.

Maricopa Easter Egg Hunt - Our largest event of the year. We host thousands of children and families for a festival and egg hunt.

To find out how you can get involved please send us an email and let us know where you might get plugged in.

We travel to Rocky Point Mexico several times a year to serve along side our partners there.  Our next trip is May 1st - 3rd, the cost for the weekend, including your meals, lodging, and supplies is $146. You can register online by clicking this link. Register for Mexico trip

We currently have two families that live full time in Penasco, and are involved in many different ministries. If you would like to make a trip with us, you will need a valid passport, and a weekend to spare. Trips usually leave on Friday and return on Sunday.  For more information on our trips, you can can send us an email, or pick up more information at one of our Sunday services.

We collect food for FOR Maricopa on an ongoing basis, you can always leave non perishable items in the red containers on our patio.
